I know what it's like to feel alone and afraid. I understand the pain, the shame, and the stigma of childhood sexual trauma, because I’ve been in that dark place. A victim as a child, I was determined to create a better, whole, peaceful life for myself.

For eight long years, I endured sexual abuse at the hands of someone I thought I could trust. I learned to be suspicious, afraid, and numb. I lost my connection with myself and with life.

I never wanted another woman to feel that pain...that numbness. I was determined to heal and thrive, and help other women like me. And here I am — not just a survivor, but a thrivor.

I’m a Naturopathic Physician & Nurse and I understand the hidden physical & emotional effects of childhood sexual trauma — because, like you, I am a survivor. That’s why I became a registered nurse and a licensed Naturopathic Physician: to help others heal.

I learned more about how our body and mind work together to protect us in times of stress — and how to break out of that defensive cycle so the spirit can heal. Now I want to share that healing process with you, a step at a time.

A Safe Place to Heal

The pain of sexual trauma can manifest in many ways. Some of us become quiet and withdrawn; others become hypervigilant, edgy, defensive. The invisible pain leaves scars no one can see.

The Survivor to Thrivor Method gives you the tools to begin to heal from your trauma — to take back control of your life, your health, and your future. In weekly sessions, we examine different aspects of sexual trauma and simple steps you can take to find peace, balance, and better physical, mental, and emotional health.
